What’s your favorite brand tag design?

I absolutely adore clothes that come with wonderfully designed tags. I’ve been collecting brand tags for quite a while now and I have a plethora of them all crammed into a small case. Hopefully my collection will expand when I return from Japan as I know that the Japanese put a lot of effort into every single bit of their design. The poster below is just something I did for fun, and as unimaginative as it sounds (cos I’m terrible with titles), it’s called ‘Brands in the Closet’.

The Creatives Design Book (not really a book)

I finally had my artworks printed out last weekend. Print always looks different from web and I always prefer the former. I do not have the complete resources to compile them into a book just yet but I would definitely not rule out that idea. I mean, which designer doesn’t like their artworks to be published into a book?

A little interior design project I tasked myself upon some time ago using Autodesk Maya and Photoshop. Evidently, my 3D skills need a lot of refining, but Photoshop did make things a wee bit better. I get all sorts of ID ideas in my head but executing it is a task. Anyone interested in doing a 3D modelling collaboration?

TIme never sleeps

I was first introduced to Illustrator’s mesh tool back in 2008, when I was doing my first year at RMIT, Melbourne. My lecturer gave us an assignment where we had to replicate an actual watch, just based on an image, using the mesh tool in Illustrator. It took me a few sleepless nights to get the job done. I was pretty satisfied with the result considering that it was my first attempt, but there were still some flaws which I couldn’t be bothered about anymore. Can you tell which watch was done by me?

Never let the product of hard work to go waste.
